Becoming certified online and becoming certified in person are two different things. The experience of being with other people, who’s in the same boat as you, makes the learning more enjoyable.
I’ve had my background with Dave Elman’s taught by Gerald Kein at the OMNI Hypnosis Training and George Kappas taught by the faculty of Hypnosis Motivation Institute. And these two had its wonderful contributions to my journey, but I wanted more. Both foundations are grounded in the traditional method of hypnosis, it felt that there’s something more to this. And upon my research, I’ve discovered about Ericksonian Hypnosis or also known as Conversational Hypnosis.
Luckily, people at the NLP and Hypnosis Philippines invited a person named Karsten Kuestner to hold a professional hypnotherapy certification. And I’m thankful that mentor Igor Ledochowski allowed that we get to avail it in a lesser price than what it usually is, that fits with our country’s economic status.
The certification took 6 days to complete and each day provided a new found insight on what hypnosis is and what it could be. Hypnosis is life, that’s what a friend of mine said, and it’s true. Hypnosis is very much around us, hypnosis happens in the form of suggestions and that’s why advertisements are so popular because suggestions are delivered in our state of everyday trance.
It was a euphoric experience to become a certified hypnotherapist that’s registered as a life time member at the International Association of Professional Conversational Hypnotist (IAPCH). I’m ever grateful to the experience.
I know that this is just the beginning of my journey to becoming a master hypnotist. There’s more to learn, because hypnosis after all, is a lifestyle. And having our eyes opened to what were once invisible, is a powerful gift to behold.
